BIO

A passion for art & design took me on a journey of exploration and self realisation.

My name is Anisha Meggi and I have been studying the M.Arch at the Leicester School of Architecture having completed the BA (Hons) initially also at the LSA.

The final year project is located in the Portuguese  coastal region of Guincho overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The Ocean Research Centre is a product of the fascination and therefore research that took place; of the immediate coastal environment, ecosystem and further surroundings.

The final presentation visual technique shows the essence of the project, laser cut sections layered to create the various forms and spaces set in to the cliff location. Using the quarried limestone to create a composition of shard like shattered limestone panels for the roof- something left as an element of integration.

My interest in learning, developing current and new skills and the constant intrigue and experimenting means the types of work I am interested or capable is not exhaustive but an ongoing narrative of personal and professional growth.

I am currently looking to join a practice in order to further my Architecture education with the PEDR and take my RIBA Part 3 in the future.

A  comprehensive collection of work from my years at architecture school can be viewed on
