BIO

I am a third year student studying at the Leicester School of Architecture, soon to be graduate. I enjoy communicating my ideas through various forms of digital mediums and I am always keen and looking to learn new techniques to better my work and skill set.

I have strong experience in the following programms:

  • Adobe Suite - Photoshop & InDesign
  • AutoCAD
  • SketchUp Pro
  • Vray

My final year project is located in the heart of Spitalfields on Hanbury Street. The idea was to create a design, which restores life to the production process. I decided to create a Public Abattoir as I was intrigued by the use of an abandoned money exchange shop located near the site. This shop was being used as a meat preparation space. My idea was to create a space, which glorifies the underground, sheds light on to what is hidden and restore balance to the ideal. As abattoirs cannot be completely abolished I decided to create an abattoir which address key issues such as conscience eating and restoring life to the traditional butcher craft.

I am planning to go on to study my RIBA Part II, however I am currently looking for a placement over the summer months, which will allow me to learn new skills and learn more about the industry.
