BIO

I am a knitted textile and menswear designer with a BA (Hons) degree in Fashion, Textiles and Accessories. I pride myself on small details and intricacy of techniques within my work. I am inspired by the work of Missoni, Phillip Lim and Alexander Wang. My focus is on sourcing high quality, natural fibre yarns to produce complex and luxury designs for fashion. I am always willing to expand my knowledge of both fibres and techniques to be the very best that I can be in my field. In addition, I am well practiced using both Dubied and Stoll hand flat knitting machines as well as domestic knitting machines and domestic linkers. I like to combine graphic patterns with bold accent colours and considered proportions coupled with tonal greys which give my work its signature androgynous feel. I also have experience working on placement for Acorn Conceptual Textiles producing knitted swatches during which time I sold work to Oscar De La Renta.
