BIO

OMNIA is a luxury lingerie and loungewear collection for AW 18/19 inspired by modern architecture and structural forms, such as the Hearst Tower in Manhattan, New York and London's St Pancras train station. The shapes are more angular, bras have unusual underbands and square necklines, briefs feature cut out detailing and a three-dimensional pineapple pleat was used to create sheer, multifaceted sleeves that feature on three out of my seventeen garments in the collection. A great deal of attentional was paid to the final fabrics, detailing, componentry and finishings of the garments so that they were of a high standard and in keeping with my luxury target market.

Achievements:

  • Selected by an industry panel to showcase my final collection at the 70th Anniversary Contour Fashion Catwalk Show in the Freemasons Hall, Covent Garden, London.
  • Short listed for the final of the GFW Boux Avenue Lingerie Award 2017.
  • Triumph set was one of four chosen to be photographed for an editorial photo shoot "Desert Heat" in Dubai by Michael Ilori of Lighthouse Fashion.
  • Shortlisted for the final of the External Client Project with Triumph International. Work was featured in the February 2017 edition of Underlines Magazine and displayed at MODA, Birmingham.
  • Awarded the #DMUGlobal High Flyers fund on the New York trip in January 2017 where I also represented Contour Fashion at DMU’s 70th Anniversary Celebration Event at Unarthodox.
  • In May 2016 was awarded Second Place for my work which was inspired by rusting metal in the ‘Cabinet of Curiosities’ competition.
